My name is Elena (Olena) Sydorova. I am an international hairstylist, hair reconstruction and modification specialist, professional educator, and founder of ES Hair Studio, ES Hair Restoration School, and ES Hair School. For more than twenty years, my career has brought together advanced hair techniques, the science of hair care, and the artistry of creating individual looks.
My professional journey began in Ukraine. Early in my career, I worked with women’s and men’s haircuts, coloring, and salon treatments, later specializing in complex color work and chemical processes. I continued developing my skills through hands-on experience, further education, creative projects, and teaching. Over time, I became a salon owner, international educator, competition participant, and professional judge.
Why Knowledge Matters to Me
Coloring or smoothing hair is about much more than applying a product. Every procedure affects a complex hair fiber with its own history of coloring, natural wear, heat styling, and previous chemical treatments. I pay particular attention to elasticity, porosity, overall hair condition, and what can responsibly be achieved in a single appointment.
My higher education in design and pedagogy helped shape two essential sides of my work: creating personalized looks and explaining complex technical subjects in a clear, accessible way. As a stylist, I want clients to be part of the decision-making process. As an educator, I want students to understand and explain their choices—not simply repeat a memorized procedure.
From ES Hair Studio to ES Hair School
In 2017, I founded my own salon business in Ukraine. In 2021, I established ES Hair Restoration School, a professional school specializing in hair reconstruction, restoration, and modification. Later, as the curriculum and areas of professional training expanded, I renamed it ES Hair School. The new name reflects a broader educational mission that extends beyond hair reconstruction alone.
I developed my own hands-on teaching approach, grounded in a deep understanding of hair structure, its chemical and physical properties, and the processes involved in professional hair services. More than 180 students have completed my educational programs.
The guiding principle of my educational philosophy is: “A stylist’s possibilities begin with knowledge.” I always tell my students that almost any creative challenge can be approached when you understand not only how to perform a procedure, but also the deeper processes taking place within the hair.
Our goal is not simply to change hair color, shape, or structure. It is to do so consciously—to anticipate the outcome, respect the hair’s condition, and minimize the risk of damage. Knowledge expands what is possible without losing sight of what matters most: preserving hair quality. This principle became the foundation of my original teaching methodology and the programs at ES Hair School.
My Career in the United States
Since 2023, I have continued my hairstyling career in Naples, Florida, offering customized hair coloring, reconstruction, styling, cutting, and professional consultations. I also remain active in fashion projects, creative photoshoots, and educational events.
My experience includes editorial and runway hairstyling, Fashion Week projects, international beauty pageants, judging, and speaking at professional events. These opportunities taught me to maintain precision under time pressure, translate an artistic vision into a finished look, and balance creativity with technical discipline.

My Approach in the Salon
First, I listen. We talk about the result you want and what you like—or would like to change—about your hair today. Then I consider your coloring and treatment history, your hair’s condition, the complexity of the service, and how much time you want to spend styling your hair every day.
When working with blonde hair, I focus on balance: the level of lift, tone, dimension, hair quality, and a realistic maintenance plan. For color corrections, I explain what we can achieve now and what may require another appointment. For smoothing and reconstruction, I select products based on compatibility with the hair and the safety of the process—not on the loudest marketing promises.
I believe professional hair coloring should never be separated from caring for the condition and quality of the hair. That is why, at ES Hair Studio, appropriate hair reconstruction, restorative care, and professional conditioning are integral parts of the coloring process—not optional add-ons.
I do not charge separately for the restorative care incorporated into a coloring appointment. I consider caring for hair quality a stylist’s professional responsibility, not an extra option the client should have to purchase. Depending on the hair’s condition, structure, and history, I select the appropriate care and reconstruction steps and integrate them into the coloring service.
My goal is not simply to achieve the desired shade. It is to create a beautiful, technically considered result while paying close attention to maintaining the best achievable hair quality. To me, professional hair coloring always brings together aesthetics, knowledge, and responsible care.
Beyond the Salon Chair
I love the creative possibilities of hair: the geometry of a haircut, the movement of a style, the architecture of an avant-garde design, and the emotional impact of a thoughtful transformation. My portfolio brings together everyday salon work and fashion styling for professional models and events.
I also believe education makes the beauty industry more responsible. Through ES Hair School, professional publications, and masterclasses, I continue to share the knowledge I have gained throughout my career.
Let’s Create a Look That Inspires Others
Are you tired of familiar haircuts, repetitive styling, and colors that look the same from salon to salon? Do you no longer want to choose your next hairstyle from a photo of a friend, a neighbor, or a Hollywood celebrity? Are you ready for something more—a look that reflects who you are? Then I invite you to discover new possibilities for your personal style.
My professional toolkit includes a wide range of European and American haircutting, coloring, and styling techniques. They allow me to create personalized solutions rather than copy someone else’s look. Together, we will find a combination of color, shape, texture, and style that highlights your features, personality, and lifestyle.
I do not want to make you look like someone else. I want to create a look so harmonious, expressive, and unmistakably yours that other women will be inspired by you.
Don’t look for a style to imitate. Create your own—the one that inspires others.
